The sign arrived in good condition and looked the part. We used it to warn warehouse drivers about overhead cables. It stuck well when mounted on our gate post. My only caveat: if you mount to rough surfaces or old wood, make sure fixings are secure - I’d recommend drilling/screwing rather than relying on adhesion for long-term use. But for general safety awareness it’s a decent and affordable sign
The “Danger Overhead Cables” sign is well printed and seems weather-resistant enough for outside use. We attached ours to a metal gate near a yard in Sandwell. That said, if you mount it low or where there are other signs/stickers, it can get a little lost among clutter. For max effectiveness: mount high, and position where drivers or operators are likely to see it before moving under cables.
We fitted this “Danger Overhead Cables” sign at the entrance to our yard in Wolverhampton, and it’s done the job perfectly. The yellow-and-black hazard colouring plus the lightning-bolt symbol make the danger obvious — even for delivery drivers in taller vans. The rigid-plastic version we chose feels robust and weather-resistant: after heavy rain and wind it’s still intact and legible. I’ve no doubt this sign could stop someone from mis-judging clearance under cables — well worth adding for safety.
