The Danger Buried Cables sign from RainbowSafety did a great job at our site: bright yellow background, clear black text and a prominent lightning-bolt hazard icon. It’s ideal for marking cable-buried zones before excavation or maintenance work. We used a rigid-plastic version and it handled exposure to outdoor conditions (rain, dust, muddy boots) without fading or damage. For safety compliance and peace of mind — a solid, essential safety sign.
The sign did its job at our temporary cable-repair zone — warning everyone not to dig. The print quality is good and the warning is clear. That said, the version we bought was fairly lightweight, and I worry about longevity if left outdoors long-term in rough weather or around heavy machinery. For short- to medium-term jobs though, totally adequate.
We put this sign up around a trenching area during a utilities-upgrade project in British Columbia. The sign material and printing feel tough enough for outdoor conditions, and even after several weeks of cold, rain, and mud it remains legible and firmly fixed. The “Danger Buried Cables” message is unambiguous, and the standard hazard symbol helps alert even people who might not read every word. Very reliable safety signage & good value for the cost.
