Reviews
I ordered this Danger of Death sign for a substation fence in Wellington and I’m really pleased with it. The yellow-and-black hazard design is unmistakable, and the universal icon helps communicate danger even to workers or visitors whose first language isn’t English. Mounting was easy - we drilled it onto a metal post and it’s held firm through rain and wind. It’s a small thing but gives peace of mind — this kind of signage helps prevent accidents and keeps the site compliant.
The sign is clear and very visible when positioned close to the risk — for example, on doors or nearby fences. However, on a larger site or an open yard it might be a little small to catch the attention of distant workers or off-site contractors. For confined areas or near equipment, it works well, but if you want maximum visibility from afar, a larger version might be better. Still a solid safety sign and gives peace of mind.
The Danger of Death sign from RainbowSafety gave our utility room the warning it needed. The material feels solid, and the graphics are clean and professional. I like how it grabs attention quickly — you don’t need to walk close to read it. We’ve had it up for weeks now, outdoors, and despite rain and dust it remains completely legible. Great value for a safety-critical product.
We put this sign up near a transformer cabinet in Christchurch. It’s weather-resistant and stayed firmly attached after rain and wind. The hazard symbol and wording are clear, but in low-light or dusk conditions the contrast isn’t as strong as I’d hoped. If you expect site work in dim conditions, you might want to add a light or reflective backing for visibility. Otherwise, it’s a dependable sign for everyday use.
