During a recent site risk assessment, we decided to use photoluminescent PPE signs, and this one was a great addition. In the event of a power cut it’s reassuring that the sign will still glow, reminding anyone nearby to wear ear protection. The quality is very good (1.3 mm rigid plastic), and it’s clearly made to last.
The sign does exactly what I wanted — glows well and clearly shows the ear protection symbol. However, on our very tall wall it looks a bit lost; a larger format would have been more visible. Still, the material and finish are very good. Would buy again.
We put this glow-in-the-dark ear protection sign up in our large machine shop, and I’m really impressed with how it comes alive in low light. After being “charged” by the workshop lighting, it glows clearly enough to be seen in dim areas. The plastic feels rugged and the symbol is bold — exactly the kind of safety reminder you want where hearing protection is essential. Excellent value from Rainbow Safety.
Overall, I’m happy with the sign: the photoluminescent effect is strong, the build is sturdy, and it's clearly compliant with safety sign standards. The only downside was that delivery from Rainbow Safety took a few extra days compared to my other PPE order. But quality-wise it’s clearly worthwhile
